A currency is a representation of the currency of a particular country or political union.

Every currency is identified by a unique currencyCode that is used to define the value of that currency in a currency exchange rate. The currency exchange rate maps the currencyCode to an exchangeRate value that specified the rate of exchange between the currency and the currency scheme's anchor currency.

To perform this operation, a principal must belong to a group that has been assigned the appropriate role-based permissions. The table identifies the roles with permission to perform this operation.
