Adds a loss occurrence record to a treaty that limits the liability of that treaty to loss occurrences.
A loss occurrence record is an adjustment to a catastrophe treaty that defines terms that limit the liability of that treaty to loss occurrences resulting from catastrophe events. A loss occurrence record may be applied to a catastrophe treaty when analyzing risk to exposures using HD models.
Each loss occurrence record is applicable to a single HD model (regionPeril
). The loss occurrence record may define an hours clause (lossOccurenceRadius
), a radius clause (lossOccurenceRadius
) and whether whether the treaty allows for multiple loss occurrences for the same catastrophe event.
Note
Add no more than one loss occurrence record per HD model (
regionPeril
) per treaty. For example, a single catastrophe treaty can have one loss occurrence forUSWF
to define an hours clause and a radius clause and one loss occurrence forUSFL
to define an hours clause. A catastrophe treaty cannot have two separate loss occurrences forUSWF
models that define distinct clauses in each.
