Introduction to Risk Modeler

Overview

The RMS Risk Modeler API enables risk analysis of catastrophic events through RMS Intelligent Risk Platform™, a cloud-based platform for advanced modeling and risk analytics. Risk analysis is the process of analyzing exposure data (collections of location, hazard, and financial data) using computer-based peril models to estimate financial risk. Risk Modeler supports risk analysis for portfolios, accounts, and locations.

The Risk Modeler API enables you to automate underwriting processes using the same services and resources as you would in the RMS Risk Modeler application. Most workflows that can be managed within the RMS Risk Modeler application may also be managed using Risk Modeler API services.
