Central and South America MMI 22.0

The Central and South America Earthquake MMI data enables you to assess the Modified Mercalli Intensity, a subjective measure of earthquake intensity that ranges from 1 (not felt) to 12 (extreme risk), across an array of return periods. The data enables users to understand the implications of earthquake risk for locations in all countries within the model domain including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Belize, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama

China MMI 22.0

US ESDB Building Attributes compiles comprehensive building attribute data based on a combination of analytics, validation heuristics, and industry exposure data. ESDB data products support a wide variety of applications including the validation and enrichment of location exposure data. ESDB data products are available for locations in the United States only. Using the ESDB, you can both assess and enhance the quality of your current exposure data and provide a solid foundation where no data exists.

Geocoding

Geocoding is the process of estimating the global coordinates (latitude and longitude) of a location based on its street address, city, postal code, or other address information. Geocoding software evaluates the address information for completeness and quality using specialized pattern matching algorithms, heuristics, and geographic databases.

This release introduces version 23 of the geocoding engine:

Geocode Address 23.0 geocodes a location based on attributes specified in the request body using version 23 of the geocoding engine.

Geocode Lookups

Geocode lookups enable you to access reference data at different resolution levels so that you can identify location exposures with greater accuracy and provide the geocoding engine with higher quality reference data. Generally, this data is provided in the form of geographic identifier values that identify a location at a particular resolution level.

The US Windstorm Risk Score data product contains pre-calculated risk scores for earthquakes that are derived derived from simulated catastrophe events using probabilistic models.

US ESDB Building Attributes 8.2

Updates exposure data for a geocoded location using the US ESDB Building Attributes data product.

The ExposureSource Database (ESDB) compiles comprehensive building attribute data based on a combination of analytics, validation heuristics, and industry exposure data. ESDB data products support a wide variety of applications including the validation and enrichment of location exposure data. ESDB data products are available for locations in the United States only. Using the ESDB, you can both assess and enhance the quality of your current exposure data and provide a solid foundation where no data exists.

FEMA 2023 P1 Update

FEMA Flood Zones, published by the Federal Emergency Management Authority (FEMA), are the primary method that emergency planners and some insurers gauge flood risk. RMS has digitized these maps to enable side-by-side comparison of their outputs with much higher resolution flood analytics. This will enable insurers to identify the best business out of the National Flood Insurance Plan (NFIP).
