New Zealand Distance to Coast

The New Zealand Distance to Coast data product enables you to understand the distance of a geocoded location to the nearest coastline and understand potential to coastal flood risk, or potential for exposure to coastal erosion.

FEMA P3 Update

FEMA Flood Zones, published by the Federal Emergency Management Authority (FEMA), are the primary method that emergency planners and some insurers gauge flood risk. RMS has digitized these maps to enable side-by-side comparison of their outputs with much higher resolution flood analytics. This will enable insurers to identify the best business out of the National Flood Insurance Plan (NFIP).

September 2022

2022.09.c: Location Intelligence introduces the Canada Earthquake MMI, Mexico Earthquake MMI, New Zealand Flood Depth data products.

Canada Earthquake MMI 18.1

Canada Earthquake MMI Canada Earthquake MMI data enables you to assess the Modified Mercalli Intensity, a subjective measure of earthquake intensity that ranges from 1 (not felt) to 12 (extreme risk), across an array of return periods. The data enables users to understand the implications of earthquake risk for locations in Canada.

Europe Earthquake MMI 18.0

Europe Earthquake MMI data enables you to assess the Modified Mercalli Intensity, a subjective measure of earthquake intensity that ranges from 1 (not felt) to 12 (extreme risk), across an array of return periods within the 20 countries within the Europe Earthquake domain. The data enables users to understand the implications of earthquake risk for locations in all countries covered in the Europe Earthquake Model.
Mexico Earthquake MMI 18.1

Mexico Earthquake MMI data enables you to assess the Modified Mercalli Intensity, a subjective measure of earthquake intensity that ranges from 1 (not felt) to 12 (extreme risk), across an array of return periods. The data therefore enables users to understand the implications of earthquake risk for locations in Mexico.

New Zealand Flood Depth 1.0

New Zealand Flood Depth data enables you to assess flood hazard for a location across an array of defended and undefended return periods. The data represents flood hazard from the New Zealand Flood HD Model and provides the ability to make three requests; whether a location has risk, what the risk is across the full spectrum of available return periods, or what the risk is within a user-defined proximity of the location.
