Climate on Demand Corporates

Below are the updates and enhancements pertaining to Corporates endpoints.

Return Period Damages for CoD Corporates - API Only

We are pleased to announce the addition of Return Period Damage metrics to Climate on Demand
Corporates, providing a view of tail risk at the company and facility levels. The data for this feature is available exclusively through Climate on Demand's API endpoint suite. We plan to update the Climate on Demand application user interface with this feature as a future roadmap consideration.

In this release, two additional API endpoints are added to Climate on Demand Corporates:

• lookup-corporates-rp
• lookup-corporate-facilities-rp

This feature allows you to request damage ratios for return periods specified by users for the perils:

• Floods
• Hurricanes & Typhoons
• Sea Level Rise
• Wildfires.

This enhancement allows you to better assess tail risk associated with low-frequency, high-severity
events that are difficult to assess with Annualized Damage Rates (ADR) alone. For example, if you request a return period of 200 for Floods in 2050 under RCP8.5, the API call will return the estimated damage from inland flooding levels expected to be exceeded in a full year, measured for a year occurring approximately once every 200 years with warming levels consistent with the RCP8.5 scenario mid-century.

This feature is available for four rcp scenarios and ngfs Phases 3, 4, and 5 scenarios.

Heat Stress, Water Stress, and Earthquakes are not covered by this release.

Climate on Demand Real Assets

Below are the updates and enhancements pertaining to Real Assets endpoints.

Return Period Damages for Climate on Demand Real Assets - API Only

The return periods endpoint score-portfolio-impact-rp now allows you to request all rcp scenarios
in a single API call.

Refinements

With this release Climate on Demand deploys fixes to address some implementation inconsistencies. We’ve refined backend logic to resolve these inconsistencies, ensuring that data results are more accurate, uniformly logical, and better aligned with user intuition. As a result, some data values may change compared to return period data in releases v3.51 - v3.55.

In our testing of these refinements, we’ve observed changes in up to 1% of locations tested. When changes are observed, they can occur in damage ratios for Sea Level Rise, Wildfires, and All Categories. The changes are limited to Return Period API endpoints for Real Assets:
